Instructions for oral presenters

Below you will find guidelines if you have been accepted for an oral presentation at AIDSImpact 2025.

Presentation information

On the day of your talk you need to report to your session room before 8.30 am, or at least 30 minutes before your session.

You need to upload your presentation in advance electronically via our secure platform.
(If you are unable to do so, please bring your presentation on a USB stick.).

Apple Mac may not be supported fully. All presentations will be via PowerPoint. There are no slide facilities at the conference.

If you need assistance with preparing your presentation, please let us know at least four weeks before the conference and our programme committee will offer you advice through our mentoring system. Contact casablanca2025@aidsimpact.com for more information.

On the day of your presentation, please report to your dedicated presentation room at least 15 minutes before the session is scheduled to start. This will allow you to meet the chairpersons, and other presenters and check your audiovisual requirements. We expect all speakers to be present for the entire session as discussion will involve the whole panel.

You will be expected to speak for 10 minutes and a 5-minute discussion period is also time-tabled at the discretion of the chairpersons.

Upload your PowerPoint presentation

Uploading Your Presentations

Please upload your presentations through our secure speaker portal. You will receive an email invitation providing access to the platform for uploading your PowerPoint presentation. Watch the tutorial to get it right.

It is essential that your presentation is uploaded in time to ensure all preparations can be completed before the conference begins.

Instructions on how to upload Power Point

1. Login to the platform via the email you have received as the presenting author.
2. Locate your name in the upper right corner of the screen and click on it. Then, select “My Profile” from the dropdown menu.
3. You are now on your profile page, where you can see all the presentations or events in which you have an active role.

4. Click on the name of the relevant event to access the Session Page where your presentation is scheduled.
5. Below your presentation, you will find an info box with a link to upload your PowerPoint file.
6. Click on the PowerPoint icon and select the file you wish to upload from your device.

7. Once the upload is complete, the menu bar will close automatically, and a success message will appear in the lower-left corner of your screen.
8. When the PowerPoint icon turns green, your file has been successfully uploaded.
